Art

Art is sometimes retarded. I hate when people take different colors, scribble on a piece of a paper and call it art. My 3 year old brother does that. Some of the sculptures downtown are just twisted pieces of metal. There is nothing about them that is art. The real art is the stuff like the Mona Lisa. It takes real skill to paint a picture that resembles something. That other stuff is just crap. It really pisses me off how they try to pass that off as art.

Activists

I don't like Activists. I'm not against any of their causes its just that some of them take it too far. Like Sharon Stone when she said that we should conserve paper by using 1 square of toilet paper. I'm sorry, but 1 square don't do the trick. Also, PETA sometimes makes me mad. I'm all for treating animals right but there is no need to go vegetarian. You can do a lot of good for animals and still eat meat. I'm all for activism not extremism. Remember if Humans werent meant to eat them, they wouldnt taste so good

Finals

Finals are riduclous. It is basically a combination of all our other tests made 10% percent of our grade. Finals don't test what you know. As long as you passed the other tests you know what is coming on the final. Instead of a final they should just make the tests a bigger part of our grade. By making 1 test worth a large portion of out grade they put more pressure on students. If you bomb a final you almost automatically drop a letter grade. Its a dumb system that teachers should get rid of.

Early Morning

Early morning makes me mad for some reason. I don't know why but i cannot stand getting up early. Some days i go to bed early so i can wake up early and not care but it doesn't work. I am in a bad mood most of the week because i have to get up early for school. I'm sleepy all of school. It doesn't help that most of my classes are boring. It is so boring early in the morning. For example, if you go sit on your porch at night you can see some interesting things. People are out and doing stuff. Early in the morning you feel like the only person up. It is all quiet and solemn. It just makes you feel more tired because it relaxes you. There is no way to get enough sleep when you have to get up early in the morning

Homework

Homework pisses me off because its not like people in school don't already have things to do. Most kids are encouraged to join sports and stuff. How can they do things like that without cutting into homework time and getting a lower grade. Sometimes the amount of homework is ridiculous. The days when almost all your classes give you homework you have no time for anything else. You have to cancel other plans just so you can do your homework to pass the class. We do work in class, why should we be expected to do work at home too. Most kids have chores they need to do also. There is no point to homework. It doesn't help teach you anything or learn anything. If you don't know the material when class ends, all that happens is that you end up getting an F on your homework. How this reinforces anything, I fail to see.
